Kalimpong Circuit

Though a part of Darjeeling district yet this circuit has to be dealt separately because of its affinity with Bhutan. Also known for its heritage characters, The town already offers the best home hospitality in the whole of the region. Beyond the town rising from the Teesta river and eastern Sikkim are the probable villages of Tarkhola, Moongsoong, Pedong,Lava, Loleygaon, Rishyap fast developing into tourist destinations. This further opens into the most virgin area of Neora Valley National Park.Further down from Garubathan this circuit meets with the Dooas-Bhutan circuit. The Kalimpong forest area which is under West Bengal Forest Development Corporation, Kalimpong Division (gen & spl) is the largest patch of forest green and villages with their own cultural characteristic live between them.
